We are proud of our noble Aosta goats, raised on our farm. Experience the lively goat herd firsthand – a highlight for both children and adults! Watch the playful kids and the impressive displays of strength from the bucks – unforgettable moments that bring joy and let everyday life fade away.

For children (and explorers!), a unique forest playground awaits, complete with a treehouse, Kneipp pond, zipline, swings, fountain, and plenty of wooden benches to relax and enjoy nature.

At the neighboring farm, you can take riding lessons on Icelandic ponies or explore the surroundings on relaxed horseback rides.

The interactive exhibition “On the Alpine Pasture – Between Heaven and Earth” is located in the Talmuseum Hüttschlag. Special emphasis is placed on presenting regional highlights from the Hohe Tauern National Park area within the museum. This makes the exhibition a perfect fit for the Großarltal!

At Chalet Kleinbretteneben, experience a picture-perfect winter: snowy peaks, crisp mountain air, and cozy evenings by the fireplace.

The Großarl-Dorfgastein ski area, part of Ski amadé, one of Europe’s largest ski networks, is right at your doorstep. With the new Kieserlbahn, the ski area has expanded significantly. Experience the Skylounge Wolke 7 with panoramic views, cocktails, and events – a highlight even for non-skiers.

Off the slopes, winter in Großarl also offers: winter hiking, sledding, snowshoeing, carriage rides with our native Noriker and Haflinger horses, and the romantic Großarl Mountain Advent – every activity has its own magic.
