Then our small mountain farm in Salzburg, right in Großarl – the famous “Valley of the Alpine Pastures” – is the perfect place for you! In our naturally and sustainably built chalets, you can experience the magic of the mountains up close – with your first coffee overlooking the peaks, on breathtaking hikes, or in winter on the perfectly prepared slopes of the Großarl cable cars, part of Ski amadé, followed by cozy evenings together by the crackling fireplace.

Our chalets are built biologically and sustainably using local wood and natural stone from the surrounding area. They are furnished with love for detail, including handmade furniture and decorations by the hosts. Enjoy our pure spring water served in stylish carafes with Swiss pine (Zirbenholz) closures for a relaxing and beneficial effect. Healthy sleep awaits you in beds with Swiss pine inlays, promoting harmony and regeneration.

Farm Holiday in Salzburg – Nature, Animals & Authentic Rural Life

We are proud of our noble Aosta goats, raised on our farm. Experience the lively goat herd firsthand – a highlight for both children and adults! Watch the playful kids and the impressive displays of strength from the bucks – unforgettable moments that bring joy and let everyday life fade away.

For children (and explorers!), a unique forest playground awaits, complete with a treehouse, Kneipp pond, zipline, swings, fountain, and plenty of wooden benches to relax and enjoy nature.

At the neighboring farm, you can take riding lessons on Icelandic ponies or explore the surroundings on relaxed horseback rides.

As a BERG-GESUND member, you can enjoy free guided hikes in the Großarl Valley, exciting climbing adventures, and training sessions directly on our on-site Bretei rock – nature and action right at your chalet door!

We are located on a small hill, just about 1 km from the center of Großarl – peaceful yet close to shops, ski lifts, and restaurants.
